Traditional renovation of old houses is often accompanied by high demolition costs, severe construction pollution, and long project completion times.

SNYTO's new-generation water-based tile recoloring solution offers a more efficient alternative: no demolition, no relocation, and only a short construction period to completely renew wall and floor tiles throughout the property. With low cost, excellent environmental performance, and outstanding weather resistance, it provides a one-stop solution for yellowed, aged, and outdated tiles, making it easy to upgrade the appearance and quality of old living spaces.

I. Two Solutions for Different Application Requirements

Ceramic tile surfaces are smooth, dense, and hydrophobic, making it difficult for conventional coatings to achieve good adhesion. To meet different application requirements, we offer two water-based tile recoloring solutions:

Two-component system: KW-8307 (Resin) + SN-7560 (Silane Coupling Agent)

Provides a higher crosslink density, superior overall performance, and excellent cost-effectiveness. It is ideal for renovation projects requiring high water resistance, weather resistance, and abrasion resistance.

One-component system: KW-8307 (Resin) + SN-7520 (Silane Coupling Agent)

SN-7520 features excellent hydrolytic stability and storage stability. Long-term storage does not affect adhesion. It can be added directly during paint preparation, making application more convenient while delivering excellent performance.

II. Performance Evaluation of the Solution

1. Outstanding Adhesion

Test Substrate: Glazed ceramic tiles (without sanding)
The KW-8307 + SN-7560 / SN-7520 systems achieved Grade 0 adhesion. Excellent adhesion was obtained after overnight curing, and even after immersion in water at 40°C for 40 days, the coating maintained excellent wet adhesion (tested immediately after water immersion).

2. Excellent Water Resistance

Test Conditions: Immersion in water at 40°C for 40 days, followed by boiling for 1 hour.
Test Results: No blistering, no peeling, and the coating film remained intact.

3. Storage Stability

Thanks to the outstanding hydrolytic stability of SN-7520, the coating system maintains excellent storage stability after formulation. Following storage at 50°C for 30 days, the viscosity remained stable and adhesion achieved Grade 0–1.

4. Other Key Performance Data

In addition to excellent adhesion, water resistance, and storage stability, the KW-8307 + silane coupling agent system also delivers outstanding hardness, abrasion resistance, slip resistance, and weather resistance.
